Weather Live is provided by Berkan Çalıkoğlu. For questions or data requests, contact support@bcalikoglu.com. No account is required.
Location and weather
You may choose a city manually or use your device location if you grant permission. Saved places and preferences remain on your device. Weather requests to our gateway use coordinates rounded to an approximately 2 km weather cell; precise GPS coordinates are not included in that weather request. iOS and Android geocoding services may use the network to resolve a place name.
Search and providers
A place name or address you search may be sent through our gateway to LocationIQ for place results and, when needed, to the WeatherAPI search fallback. Forecasts are provided by Apple WeatherKit or WeatherAPI. Providers and operating-system services have their own data practices.
Security and widgets
Firebase App Check may use app-attestation tokens to help limit abuse. Home-screen widgets store the selected place, a compact recent forecast and its update time on your device. Background refresh may use a time-limited credential scoped to a weather area. Widgets do not request background location access.
Preferences and deletion
This version contains no advertising or analytics SDK. You can erase local data in Settings. Deleting data from your device does not retroactively remove service logs for requests already sent or processing performed by providers.
