Data controller and contact

Personal data processed

Yemek Vakti does not collect health data, nutrition scores, height/weight, allergy, or illness information.

• Identity and contact: name/display name, email address, and public user identifier (for example, yiyoo-####).
• Account and session: Firebase Authentication information, email verification status, and last sign-in time.
• Family and planning: family name, memberships and roles, meal plans, availability, day-swap requests, and invitation codes/links.
• Content: meal names, recipe text, optional meal images, profile avatar, and YouTube links.
• Device and use: theme and notification preferences, technical logs, crash reports (Crashlytics), and app-security records (App Check).

• Creating accounts, authentication, and account security
• Providing shared meal planning, swaps, and availability
• Managing invitations and family memberships
• Applying local notifications and user preferences
• Debugging, security, and service improvement
• Meeting legal obligations

Legal bases

Data may be processed as necessary to enter into or perform a contract, meet legal obligations, establish or protect legal rights, and pursue legitimate interests that do not override your fundamental rights. If consent is legally required for a separate feature, it will be requested separately and freely.

Service providers and international transfers

The service uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics, and App Check), Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and Apple/Google app-store infrastructure. Their servers may be located outside Türkiye.

International transfers are limited to what is necessary to provide the service and are handled under the safeguards and conditions required by applicable law. This notice explains processing activities and is not itself a consent statement.

Retention

Data is kept while your account remains active and for as long as needed to provide the service. After an account-deletion request, related data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, subject to mandatory legal retention. Deleted data cannot be restored.

Children

The app is designed for a family setting. Personal data of children under 13 should not be processed without parent or guardian approval. A parent or guardian may request deletion of a child’s account.

When this policy changes, the updated date will be published on this page.
